Foothill Transit:
Gillig Phantom
Foothill Transit previously owned a number of Gillig Phantom buses, with the most recent from the late 1990s. These buses, some of which featured suburban seating, were the last 96"-wide high floor buses in Foothill's fleet. All of Foothill's Phantoms have been replaced by the F15xx-series NABI 40-LFWs, with many of the Phantoms ending their life being leased to other transit agencies. These buses were powered by the Detroit Diesel Series 50 engine and the Allison B400R transmission.
