Los Angeles MTA
This is one of LACMTA's new NABI 60-BRT "Metro Liner" buses, painted in metallic silver livery for use on the Metro Orange Line. LACMTA currently operates close to 400 of these buses, in Metro Local, Metro Rapid and Metro Liner livery.

The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LACMTA), also known as "Metro", is the regional transportation planner and public transportation operator for Los Angeles County. The LACMTA operates the third-largest public transportation network in the United States (behind the Metropolitan Transportation Authority of New York and the Chicago Transit Authority of Chicago), consisting of various bus and rail services described below:

• Metro Local - Metro's standard fixed-route bus service in the city of Los Angeles and the surrounding communities. Most routes are operated directly by Metro itself, but a small number of routes are operated by private contractors. The Metro Local fleet is currently in the process of being repainted into an orange and silver livery.
• Metro Rapid - special limited-stop versions of high-traffic Metro Local lines. These buses are painted in a special red livery, and are equipped with devices that give them the priority at traffic lights.
• Metro Express - several bus lines that operate along freeways for most of their routes. Two Metro Express routes, the 450X and 577X, utilize a dedicated fleet of special blue-painted buses.
• Metro Liner - a dedicated busway operating special 60-foot buses which is meant to capture the characteristics of a light rail line. The Metro Liner system currently only consists of one line, the Orange Line.
• Metro Rail - a system of three light rail lines (the Blue, Green and Gold lines) and two subway lines (the Red and Purple lines). The system is 73.1 miles long and consists of 62 stations.
