Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT)

The Los Angeles Department of Transportation "LADOT" operates a number of distinct services: DASH, Community Connection, Commuter Express, and CityRide paratransit, throughout the city of Los Angeles and its immediate vicinity.

LADOT's DASH fleet consists mainly of El-Dorado EZ-Riders and EZ-Rider IIs manufactured between 1998 and 2006, along with a few El Dorado Transmark RE-29s. The Commuter Express routes mainly utilize Gillig Phantoms and Neoplan Metroliners, as well as Stewart and Stevenson Apollo T-40s (the only ones of their kind in the world) and several Orion V CNG and RTS buses. The Community Connection service uses Commuter Express Gillig Phantoms, and CityRide has a dedicated fleet of cutaway vans.
