Siemens S70 'Avanto' LRV

Ten sleek Siemens S70 'Avanto' LRVs arrived in 2004 for the new Green line. These new vehicles are the first low-floor LRVs to operate for the San Diego Trolley. Unlike the older LRVs, the S70s are three-section articulated cars (the U2s and SD100s feature only one articulation joint.)
