The Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) is the transit operator and transportation planning agency for Orange County in California, a large swath of urban area to the southeast of Los Angeles County. OCTA was created in 1991 as a combination of the Orange County government agencies that had managed transportation planning (the Orange County Transportation Commission) and the public transportation operator (the Orange County Transit District.)

Today, OCTA operates 80 local bus routes encompassing every city in Orange County as well as several communities within neighboring Los Angeles County. In addition, OCTA operates a number of express bus routes to the surrounding areas of Orange County, most notably downtown Los Angeles. OCTA's present-day bus fleet consists of a diverse mix of NABI, New Flyer, Gillig, and El Dorado buses.
