Sacramento Regional Transit

Sacramento Regional Transit, often referred to as "SacRT" or simply "RT", is the public transportation system for California's capital city of Sacramento. RT was established on April 1, 1973 as the successor to the Sacramento Transit Authority.

RT operates a 37-mile light rail system with two routes as well as 80 transit bus lines in the Sacramento region. RT's bus fleet is composed solely of CNG-powered Orion V and Orion VII buses, and is due to receive the next-generation Orion VII CNG bus in th enear future.
