Mountain Metropolitan Transit

Mountain Metropolitan Transit is the public transportation operator for the urban and suburban areas of Colorado Springs, the second largest city in Colorado. Branded as "metro", MMT operates 40-foot Gillig Phantoms and multicolored Gillig BRTs on a number of routes throughout Colorado Springs as well as the surrounding county of El Paso.

In addition to its local routes, MMT also operates an express bus service under the name of "FREX", or FRontier EXpress. This line, using suburban Gillig BRT buses, connects Colorado Springs to Denver with intermediate stops at park-and-rides along the I-25 corridor. Each Gillig BRT operating for FREX is "wrapped" with graphics unique to each vehicle and provided with onboard wireless Internet service.
