Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority: Orion

The WMATA currently operates four different bus models from Orion, described below:

Orion II - 42 buses for lower-use routes only.
Orion V - dominating the current WMATA fleet, with bus orders from 1992, 1997-8, 1999, and 2000. Most are 40 feet long, but fifty buses ordered in 1999 are Orion V 05.504 models that are 30 feet long and 96 inches wide.
Orion VI - WMATA's first low floor buses, with 100 buses delivered in 2000.
Orion VII CNG - 250 buses delivered in 2005 and 2006. A number of the 2006 buses are 30 feet long (with the Orion VII 07.503 designation.)
