Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority: Van Hool Buses

The WMATA owns 29 Van Hool New A330 buses that are solely used on the DC Circulator shuttles in downtown Washington, DC. These buses are the only 40-foot vehicles in WMATA's fleet to feature three doors, and they feature red and silver Circulator livery in place of the WMATA's standard paint scheme. These A330s were originally part of an order by AC Transit of Oakland, California; they are built to AC Transit specifications with the addition of air conditioning.
