Chicago Transit Authority

Here we have a set of 3200-series "L" cars entering Halsted station on the CTA Orange Line.
The Chicago Transit Authority, known as the CTA, is the second-largest transit system in the United States. A large network of buses and rail-based rapid transit currently operates throughout the city of Chicago and its environs.
Possibly the most prominent feature of the CTA is the "L". This mostly-elevated rapid transit system has come to define the city of Chicago as a whole, especially its downtown core which has taken the name "the Loop" from its elevated rail loop. The "L" currently consists of eight main routes, each identified by color.
The CTA also operates a vast bus network that provides approximately one million passenger trips per day from more than 12,000 bus stops.
