Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (Bus):

New Flyer D40LF

The MBTA ordered a number of New Flyer D40LF buses beginning in the year 2006, and continues to accept new D40LFs to replace the older TMC RTS buses. Originally, this order was to have been given to Millennium Transit Services for their RTS Extreme, but errors in calculation on Millennium's part led to New Flyer being awarded the contract. Apart from a small number of Neoplan AN-440LFs, these are the first MBTA buses to be equipped with bike racks.
