MARC Train
The MARC Train, an acronym for "Maryland Area Rail Commuter", is a commuter rail system with most of its coverage in the state of Maryland. MARC currently operates three lines: the Penn Line, running from Washington, DC to Perryville, MD via Baltimore; the Camden Line, connecting Washington with Baltimore's Camden Station; and the Brunswick Line, running northwest from Washington toward the state of West Virginia. The Penn Line is fully electrified, as it forms part of the Northeast Corridor. The Brunswick and Camden lines, however, are diesel-powered lines.
