MTA Maryland

MTA Maryland, the public transit operator for the city of Baltimore and its environs, operates a widespread bus and rail network throughout the region. Among many bus lines, the MTA operates the Green Line (also known as the Metro Subway) and the Blue Line (a light rail line connecting BWI Airport with Baltimore and other points.)

MTA Light Rail
The MTA Maryland "Blue Line" is a north-south light rail line traversing the city of Baltimore. The line has a number of branches: southbound trains may terminate at either BWI Airport or Cromwell, and a short shuttle linking University of Baltimore/Mount Royal to Baltimore Penn Station also is in operation. The light rail fleet is composed of ABB and AAI vehicles numbered in the 5000s.
