NovaBUS
NJT 1347 working route 27 in Newark. This bus, a NovaBUS RTS RT802N, has been rehabbed with orange LED destination signs and the new NJT paint scheme.
NJT became a NovaBUS customer in 1995 with an initial order of 174 RTS coaches. The agency would later purchase 648 more RTSs from Nova in 1999 and 2000, including 80 30-foot RTSs designated as the RT602N. NJT would later take delivery of a 2001 order of RTS 82VN transit and suburban coaches, as well as three 82VN hybrid RTSs in 2002.

NJT considered continuing its RTS heritage with the use of the two Millennium demonstrator buses, but internal problems at Millennium forced the cancellation of the contract. NJT has selected NABI to fill this order with its redesigned 416 model.
