GMC RTS (ex-Command Bus)

Command operated a number of narrow-body GMC RTS T8J606 buses, manufactured in 1986. They operated primarily on Command's B100 bus route before the MTA Bus takeover, with occasional sightings on the B103 as well as on Command's express lines to Manhattan. Following the transfer of service to MTA Bus, these buses began to show up on the B103 more frequently, and several were transferred to the ex-Green routes in Queens following the takeover of that company.

None of the GMC RTSs ever received the MTA Bus blue and white paint scheme, and all have been scrapped and replaced with Orion VII 07.501 HEV buses.
