GMC RTS (ex-Triboro Coach)

Triboro Coach operated a number of wide-body GMC RTSs on its Queens local routes prior to the MTA Bus takeover. These buses could be found in both the old (red and white) and new (red, silver and white) Triboro paint schemes, and some were in rather bad condition.

Several of Triboro's GMC RTS buses were originally from MTA New York City Transit. These buses could be distinguished by their electronic destination signs, front emergency lights, interior colors, and lack of a paint scheme (they were painted all white, and Triboro never repainted them.) They were retained by MTA Bus and numbered in the 1850 series.

None of the GMC RTSs ever received the MTA Bus blue and white paint scheme, and all have been scrapped and replaced with Orion VII 07.501 HEV buses.
