MTA Bus Company:
MCI Classic TC-40102A (ex-Liberty Lines Express)
Liberty Lines Express, the first private bus company to be taken over by MTA Bus, operated a fleet composed wholly of suburban MCI Classics on its express lines. These buses were constantly transferred between MTA Bus depots and could be seen on express routes all over the city before the last Classics were finally retired in 2007. Some of the ex-Liberty Classics, like the New York Bus Service Classics, received the MTA blue and white paint scheme.
