Orion V 05.501 (ex-Command Bus)

MTAB inherited a number of soft-seat Orion V CNG buses from the former Command Bus. These buses were virtually identical to those formerly under the auspices of Queens Surface and Triboro. All of these buses have been repainted into MTA blue and white, except one that still exists in Command colors.

Following the takeover, these buses were renumbered into the 700 series, and they are now primarily used for express service. However, several may occasionally show up in local service as well.
