New York Bus Service

New York Bus Service was the last New York-area transit operator to run "New Look" buses in regular service.
New York Bus Service (NYBS) was a former private bus company operating express routes between the Bronx and Manhattan. It was taken over by MTA Bus on July 1, 2005.

NYBS's fleet mainly consisted of suburban MCI Classic TC-40102A coaches. However, the fleet also contained a small number of GMC "New Look" buses that showed up from time to time -- the last New Looks in revenue service in the New York region, which were retired upon the MTA Bus takeover. The NYBS fleet also included several MCI D4500 coaches, which have now been integrated into the MTA Bus express fleet and are currently virtually indistinguishable from the D4500CLs.
