Cleveland RTA

The Greater Cleveland Regional Transportation Authority (often referred to as the RTA) is the public transportation operator for the city of Cleveland and its surroundings. The RTA is the largest agency in Ohio and won the APTA "Best Public Transportation System" award in 2007.

The RTA operates bus and rapid transit service. The latter, often referred to as "the Rapid", is composed of one heavy-rail line (the Red Line) and two light rail lines (the Blue and Green lines). The Red Line was the first rapid transit line in the country to connect a city's central district to its airport.
RTA Bus
The RTA operates a dwindling Flxible Metro fleet, as well as a growing number of NABI 40-LFW buses. NovaBUS LFSs and RTS WFDs can also be found. There are also a number of green Chance Opus buses used on downtown tourist loops.
