Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (Rail):
Broad Street Subway
Phildelphia's Broad Street Subway line (also known as the Orange Line) follows a north-south routing along Broad Street, one of the city's main thoroughfares. As well as the main Broad Street line, a short spur known as the Broad-Ridge Spur connects the line with eastern Center City. The portion of the Broad Street line north of City Hall features express and local service similar to that in New York City.
All service on the Broad Street Line is provided by Kawasaki B-IV vehicles, in both single car and married pair configurations.
