Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (Bus):

American Ikarus/NABI 416

SEPTA ordered 254 Model 416 buses from American Ikarus in 1996, and 153 of the same buses from NABI in 1997. These buses are powered by the Detroit Diesel Series 50 engine and the Allison B500R transmission. The 416s (both Ikarus and the later NABI buses) are scheduled to be replaced by New Flyer DE40LFRs in the near future.
