Regional Rail

SEPTA's Regional Rail system provides commuter rail service on thirteen branches all centered around the Center City Philadelphia stations (30th Street Station, Suburban Station, and Market East Station.) SEPTA uses a fleet of "Silverliner" electric multiple unit cars for most of its commuter rail service, complemented by a small push-pull fleet composed of Bombardier coaches and AEM-7 electric locomotives (and one ALP-44 locomotive as well.)
