Route 100

SEPTA's Route 100, also known as the "Norristown High-Speed Line", is a unique "interurban" light rail/rapid transit line connecting the western end of the Market-Frankford line to the suburb of Norristown, with stops along the way. Route 100 is similar to a rapid transit line in that it runs completely on its own right-of-way, uses third rail power and stops at high platform stations, although it also utilizes small vehicles, on-board fare collection, and rather frequent stops.

Route 100's fleet is composed of double-ended vehicles built by ABB, designated "N5" by SEPTA.
